Abstract: Cortázar’s book, Prosa del observatorio, is based on images, as shown by the photographies included in the text. It is a work written to decipher a poetics: from the image of Moebius’s ring, to the eels – that create a dynamic parallelism – or mixing scientific excerpts with extremely poetical sentences. The images allow a definition of the hole in the network of time, a ‘between’ described as the possibility of attacking the flanks of normalcy and the establishment, to proclaim revolution and rebelliousness.
