|Title:||Las monedas de Borges|
|Publisher:||Padova, Studio Editoriale Gordini|
|Abstract:||<<Las monedas de Borges>> is a paper that focuses on the symbol of money in the literary work of the Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges. In particular, the paper studies how the artist uses coins in his poetic work, through the analysis of two poems, "A una moneda" and "La moneda de hierro", and two sections of short poems called <<Quince monedas>> and <<Unas monedas>>. Borges , in fact, creates a new kind of short poem that he calls <<monedas>>, so that he reaches the objective of unifying form and content. The paper also points out the evolution of the use of coins made by the poet: from coins conceived as symbols of all future possibilities to coins symbolizing the poetic word, and in the last phase coins considered as an expression of the duality of reality.|
