Title: Orchestrazioni wagneriane nella Waste Land
Authors: Tonussi, Paola
Issue Date: 2000
Publisher: Padova, Editoriale Programma
Abstract: The influence and the relevance of Wagner's operas in the shaping of the 'Waste Land' is viewed, both as far as themes and contents are regarded. The article suggests an analogy between the 'Waste Land' structure and the musical composition of a symphonic poem, considering Eliot's chief symbols as its main themes.
