|Title:||Il sabra "senza qualità" in un racconto di Yehudit Katzir|
|Publisher:||Padova, Editoriale Programma|
|Abstract:||This article deals with the crisis of the sabra's image. The crisis of this stereotype is particularly evident in the literary generation of the eighties and nineties that overcame the Zionist vs. anti-Zionist dichotomy and presented a completely new model, without the sabra characteristics and basically free of any specific characteristics. This New Hebrew Man is in search of a definition of his identity and a universe of meaning to look up to, he is "without qualities" like the hero of Robert Musil. The complete development of the sabra image is the subject of the first of the short stories of Yehudit Katzir, "Migdalorim šel yabbašah" (1999)|
