|Abstract:||This article takes into consideration two Hindi narrative: the novel Dharmputr (Son by Faith, 1954) written by Chatursen, and the film Dharmputr 1961), made by B.R. and Yash Chopra. The story is about a young Hindu militant who discovers to be a Muslim during the Delhi riots following the Partition of India in 1947. This atudy wants to bring out the diverging repersentations of the same historical event in the two narratives.|
