This word presents a very rich and complex system of uses, menaings, allusions, and connections with other specific words and poetic images. After finding out all the line-contexts, the question is to set out a methodology in order to analyse the grammatical, semantic and rhetorical functions of āyine, also identifying the contextual features of the theme. So far we have transliterated, trnslated and processed more than half of the lines containing āyine. On the basis of this material, we propose a subdivision of the most frequent nouns (f ≥ 20) into semantic fields.|
