In front of the door of the ambo, in the Svetiskhoveli church, there lies a rectangulat marble gravestone with a bilingual epitaph (Georgian and Arabic texts) carved on it. The Author translates the texts into modern Georgian and into English, reading the ancient Georgian with a slight difference in comparison with the other researchers. He shows the importance of the epitaph, from which we get some historical fundamental informationit
